The water was a pale, luminous blue-grey, the Purbeck Hills barely visible through the haze, Brownsea Island emerging on the right like something half-dreamed. Some views ask to be painted not just as landscapes but as feelings — and this is one of those.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"\u003eI painted this in a limited palette of soft indigo and warm neutral tones, with the palest, most luminous blues capturing that particular quality of still harbour light.
