I do this every year without fail. I go through each room slowly, asking myself whether what's hanging there still feels like me. Sometimes it does. Sometimes I realise I've been walking past the same piece for months without really seeing it — which is usually a sign that it's time for a change.
Spring decorating doesn't have to mean a full renovation or a huge investment. Sometimes the most transformative thing you can do for a room is simply swap out one piece of art. A fresh canvas above the sofa. Something with more warmth and colour in the bedroom. A joyful, uplifting piece in the hallway that greets you with energy every morning rather than blending into the background.
Spring season decoration is really about intention — about making your home feel like a reflection of who you are right now, in this season of your life. Not who you were three years ago, not the person who bought that print because it was on sale. You, now, today.
