Finding Courage Through Colour: The Story Behind ‘Leap of Faith’
Share
There are moments in life when standing still feels impossible — when something within us whispers that it’s time to move forward, even if the path ahead isn’t clear. That’s exactly what inspired me to create ‘Leap of Faith’.
This painting began during a period of personal growth — one of those chapters where you feel both excited and uncertain at the same time. I wanted to translate that emotion onto the canvas: the mix of fear and freedom that comes with stepping into the unknown.
Using oils, I layered sweeping strokes of yellow, blue, and green — each colour carrying its own emotion. Yellow for joy and light, blue for trust and clarity, and green for balance and new beginnings. Together, they create a dance of colour that feels alive and full of motion, echoing that moment when courage meets possibility.
What I love most about ‘Leap of Faith’ is its energy. Even though it’s abstract, you can almost feel it moving — a visual reminder that transformation is rarely still. It’s about believing that growth can be beautiful, even when it’s uncertain.
Whether it hangs in a living space, studio, or hallway, I hope it brings a spark of inspiration to whoever sees it. Every time you look at it, may it remind you that taking a leap — in art, in life, in love — is always an act of trust, and trust is where the magic begins.
