Unframed and Original Paintings that are already framed are typically shipped out within 7 working days (sometimes I will have to order a specialist box appropriate for the painting size).

...But not all of my original paintings come pre-framed. For unframed originals, I'm happy to offer custom framing — simply choose your preferred frame colour and I'll have a bespoke frame made specifically for your painting.

Please note that custom framing does take a little longer, as the frame needs to be ordered, delivered and then carefully fitted by hand. Please allow an additional 7–14 days for custom framed orders.

• Damage: Sometimes damage occurs during transport: if this happens, please email me photos of the damaged item and I will either refund or replace it if possible.
• Cancellation / Return: You may cancel your order or return your merchandise up to 14 days within receipt for a refund of the purchase price. You will be responsible for the cost of the return postage. The items should reach me in the same condition i sent them to you of course and i would highly suggest you get insured and recorded shipping if you plan to send something back to me. Once I receive your returned item I will issue a refund.

Paintings are signed and varnished.

'Breaking Through' - Original Oil Painting - 'Breaking Through' is for anyone who has ever stood at the water's edge and felt the sky do something completely extraordinary above them. This is an original oil painting of Poole Harbour from Whitecliffe Park — painted on an evening when the light was doing something I simply couldn't walk away from. The sky was breaking open with the most dramatic reds and crimsons, warm orange burning along the horizon where it met the water, everything reflected back across the stillness of the harbour below. It stopped me completely.

I painted 'Breaking Through' in oils on canvas, working with expressive, layered brushwork to capture that sense of raw energy and movement in the sky — the way the light was quite literally breaking through the clouds with real force and warmth. The deep reds and crimsons sit against cooler blues and soft whites, creating that push and pull of drama and calm that only a coastal sunset can give you. The water carries it all back in reflection, and the dark foreshore grounds the whole composition.

This is a one-of-a-kind original — painted entirely by hand with no reproductions. It carries a strong sense of place and the kind of emotional depth that only comes from standing somewhere genuinely beautiful and painting what you feel rather than what you see.
